With over 35 years experience in the barrel racing game, Judy has a wonderful quality about her - the ability to teach her students the methods she uses to attain her goal in making a top barrel horse. The 14 years that she taught school gives her a unique approach of communicating to her students. Judy's positive inspiration and reinforcement, as well as her confidence, make her a successful competitor, coach and instructor. Judy and her husband Gene call Arlee, Montana their home. Here, Gene manages the physical side of the operation while Judy trains and competes on her young horses; Judy heads to the southern states for part of each winter where she works on her colt program, so important to Myllymaki Barrel Horses.
